From the author of the Holy Grail maps (also on filefront) comes a look at one of the TV shows that the lucky citizens of City 17 get to entertain themselves with.
About - Doctor Breen, in an attempt to make a popular television program, attempts to find the best singer in City 17; to do so, he launches a competition, where contestants have to sing to impress the judge (sound familiar yet?), with his bestest buddy the G-Man as the sole arbitor (with the voice of Simon Cowell).
It’s only a small scene, but it’s a preview for another project I’m working on at the moment: Channel 17. I thought that they can’t spend ALL day watching Dr Breen talking and talking, so they must have some other kind of program - I’m engineering a humorous look at what they show on television in City 17. Still trying to think up other ideas for programs, I’m open to suggestions for what people watch on TV in this lovely dystopia.
